Travelling by car

From the A8 Munich-Salzburg autobahn, take exit number 106 to Bernau and follow the signs to Reit im Winkl, 27 km away along the B305 (Deutsche Alpine Strasse).  If you are approaching from Salzburg along the A8, take exit 112 towards Siegendorf and follow the signs to Ruhpolding, and then to Reit im Winkl.

Approaching from the west along the A8 Munich-Salzburg autobahn, at the Inntaldreieck (main junction on the A8 with the A93 to Innsbruck) take autobahn A93 south towards Innsbruck (you do not need the Austrian autobahn toll card or vignette for this part of the autobahn).  Take exit number 59 for Oberaudorf, and follow the route Niederdorf, Durchholzen, Walchsee, Kössen, and finally Reit im Winkl.
